Please! Someone make them stop saying 'Red Meat'!!!

When did the term 'red meat' become the buzz word for election banter? I mean, what is it with these reporters who bite off of each others words, even when they're so corny and trite that it makes me want to shut my ears off when I hear them say it.

I am just wondering who told all these TV news reporters that the term of the day is 'red meat' to suggest that the 'speaker got tough' and told the opponent off. OMG. I want to puke every time I hear them say it.

It isn't bad enough that most of these news pundits insult the intelligence of thinking Americans every day while repeating dialog dictated by their corporate owners in such unapparent and soul-less display. And now rather than focus on substance regarding major issues of the day such as Americans being torn away from their families for a war we should have never started, they race to the microphone to talk about wanting to hear the 'red meat' in someones speech. Give me a break!!!! Please!

It has become a scripted, reality show cartoon where the news media looks for drama at every turn. They try to provoke discord between parties and don't even talk about how so many Americans have no job security or health care. They chomp at the bit as they grin into the camera.... 'Oooooooh! We heard some red meat today! Yeah! he got tough! Whoopee!'. You'd think they just got off of a ride at an amusement park they're so happy to say it. Red Meat.

OMG.
